Release 1.0.0 · 15 September 2026
What is new in Batomon Showdown 1.0.0
Batomon Showdown 1.0.0 arrived on 15 September 2026 with the Jinto region, new trainers, new trinkets, new events, ranked seasons, and Android. These are the developer's own notes.
What this site shows
- The catalog now shows the 1.0.0 build, Balance 22, including the Jinto Batomon.
- Comps and meta pages still sample Companion runs from before 1.0.0 until players upload Balance 22 data.
- Ranked pages still show ladder results from before the Season 1 reset.
- Some mechanics and guide pages still describe pre-release rules. Prefer the 1.0.0 notes above when they disagree.
New
The release adds a region, trainers, trinkets, events, ranked seasons, Android, and more languages.
- The Jinto region arrives with 50 or more new Batomon.
- Six new trainers join the roster: Twins, Gentleman, Painter, Burglar, Scavenger, and Black Belt.
- The release adds 30 or more new trinkets.
- Two new events appear: the Traveling Merchant and the Fossil Discovery.
- Ranked runs in seasons now. A season ends with a hard reset to Bronze 8.
- Badge case skins are available.
- Android is playable on the same account as desktop runs.
- The game adds French, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Quality of life
Most changes make the run readable: an inspect sheet, new screens, clearer status, and better filters.
- A Batomon inspect sheet opens on right-click in the shop, in battle, on an event, or in the Batopedia. It shows full stats, the ability, and the evolution chain.
- A Run History screen on the main menu shows who you fought, how long it took, and what each Batomon did.
- A Patch Notes screen is on the main menu.
- The Batopedia filters Batomon by type or rarity.
- A “???” tab in the Batopedia holds event Batomon and mythicals.
- A Hide Usernames setting announces both trainers by trainer class instead of display name.
- Trinket and Batomon start-of-battle effects animate one at a time before the battle starts.
- Small trainer portraits appear in the battle scene.
- Protect and Silence show an icon in the Batomon corner, with a count when a status stacks.
- Positional trinkets show an icon on their target slots while they are active.
- Batomon with additional types from a trainer, a chef, or an event carry a visual effect.
- A counter above some Batomon shows Berroon berries left, Aviarab multicast for the next Flying purchase, and Cordycant poison for the next purchase.
- An execution knockout shoots a red trail onto its target.
- Cooldown Speed is a keyword with a description, and the inspect sheet shows what your current value gives you.
- Income is a keyword, and a shop tooltip explains it and your current amount per day.
- The Batopedia shows entire evolution chains for multi-stage Batomon.
- The battle recap counts how many times each Batomon cast.
- Event screens carry the trainer panel and the shop rank in the team panel.
- Fast-forward speeds up once the sudden-death sandstorm starts.
- Secondary main-menu buttons moved into an overflow menu.
- The settings menu splits into two tabs, with a separate layout for mobile touch controls.
- Audio mutes when you switch away from the game.
- The game reopens on the monitor you used last.
- Cancelling an opponent search holds the battle button shut for a moment.
- The tutorial is rebuilt.
Balance
Three changes: a late-game health increase, a level 4 sell price, and one cooldown nerf.
- Team HP pool: base HP increases from day 10 onward. berrymint states that late fights regularly ended in under two seconds.
- Sell value: a level 4 Batomon resells at its level 3 price.
- Geminiss: cooldown changes from 10.0s to 12.0s, to compensate for the health increase.
