Install Companion without changing your Steam game.

Release 0.3.4 supports Windows x64 and Steam build 25274443(Batomon Showdown 1.0.0) only. Setup verifies that exact build, then creates a separate copy for Companion.

  1. 1

    Keep Steam build 25274443 installed

Install Batomon Showdown on Steam first. Setup accepts Steam build 25274443 (1.0.0) only. Update the game in Steam, then run setup.

  2. 2

    Download and open setup

Double-click the versioned 1.8 MiB Windows setup from Batomon.com.

  3. 3

    Choose Install

Setup finds one supported Steam library automatically, verifies it, and uses the fixed separate Companion destination. If Steam has multiple matching copies or cannot be detected, Browse remains available.

  4. 4

    Launch Companion

Use the finish-page launch action or the new Desktop and Start Menu shortcuts, connect your account, and play normally.

How the separate-copy installer protects your Steam files

Setup accepts only that legitimate exact build, copies your own game directory to the Companion destination, applies a tiny verified delta there, and verifies the finished copy before it becomes active.

  • The original Steam directory is never modified, renamed, deleted, or used as a backup.
  • The download does not contain the full game, a full PCK, game DLLs, or the PCK encryption key.
  • A wrong game build, damaged setup, linked path, or running Companion copy fails closed.

Play first. Review when you're ready.
