How to use Bambudo
Rules checked for Balance 26 on 2026-10-23.
The decisions below are conditional advice, not measured win-rate claims.
A cast-driven growth unit
Normal Bambudo has 75 printed Damage and a five-second cooldown at levels 1–3. Each cast adds 35 permanent Damage. Its printed early Damage stays the same across those levels, so a level increase is not automatically a larger immediate hit.
When speed helps
If Bambudo can keep casting, more cast opportunities create more permanent gains. Cooldown Speed, Charge, and Multicast affect those opportunities in different ways. Check the exact mechanic instead of treating them as interchangeable bonuses. The SHINY version has its own values; these numbers describe the normal version.
Survival is a condition
A knocked-out unit cannot keep producing casts. A board that prevents an early knockout can give Bambudo time to grow. This does not establish a universal defensive partner or prove a particular team's win rate.
Keep permanent and temporary gains apart
The ability writes a permanent Damage buff to Bambudo. A battle-only buff has a different lifetime. Compare those lifetimes before you spend resources for later rounds, and do not assume the current card shows every modifier on a played unit.
