Triggering

Trigger effects start the named Batomon's full cast sequence using the effect's exact target.

Balance 22Steam build 25274443

Exact rules

  • A triggered Batomon uses its current Multicast for that cast sequence.
  • Triggering a Batomon does not reset its current cooldown progress. That progress keeps building toward its next normal timed cast, and only completing the normal cooldown resets it.
  • A Trigger effect uses its printed target, such as an ally above, adjacent allies, or the Batomon itself.
  • Trigger chains keep printed exclusions; Puffloon and Torrantler explicitly exclude other copies of themselves.
  • Coffee and Draconarch can activate Berroon's On Battle Start effect in the current build.

Common questions

If Cicadence triggers another Bug, does that Bug keep its charge or reset?
It keeps its charge—its existing cooldown progress. Cicadence makes the Bug cast without resetting that progress, so it continues toward its next normal timed cast. Only the Bug's own normal cooldown completion resets it; a nearly charged Bug can therefore cast from Cicadence and then cast normally soon afterward.
