Exact rules
- Slots touching above, below, left, or right are adjacent; diagonal slots are not.
- Front and behind share a column; left and right share a row; a row contains three slots.
- Opposite targets the mirrored slot on the enemy board.
- Link Cable is the explicit exception that considers every Batomon on your team adjacent to each other.

From the top-middle slot, top-left, top-right, and bottom-middle are adjacent.
- Bottom-left and bottom-right are diagonal from top-middle, so they are not adjacent.
- The mirrored enemy top-middle slot is opposite top-middle.
